So purty!

Steve Watson: Skase Teacup

This tea cup ticks all the right boxes. Innovative design, simple functionality and the touchability factor. As described by the product's own site:

The Skase teacup set is based on the idea of symbiosis. A close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms of different species that may, but does not necessarily, benefit each member. The Skase is a cup and saucer for the post-modern world. The cup is made from white glazed creamware and is freed from the usual convention of requiring a flat base. It has a pleasingly tactile pointed shape and sits upon a cross base made from Manchurian walnut.

Nerd vs. Dork

Now here is the perfect set of teacups for my own household. Beloved and I are certainly of the Nerd/Dork variety... the only question is which one of us is the nerd and which is the dork? I'm almost loathe to share this one with you as I hope I can save up to bring them home to myself.

This is yet another of the brilliant creations of trixiedelicious, whom I have a creative crush on. I love her blend of naughty and nice, and her style is something to admire. If you too have a wicked sense of humor then you might enjoy her work. Be warned though, if you consider yourself easily offended then you might want to skip it... but that would ruin the fun.
